Day nine of our Cambodian adventure began by tracking three elephants through the vast jungle in Mondulkiri province. Our volunteers expected a very different encounter instead of the extremely genuine and close experience we received with these beautiful creatures; we were blown away.
After lunch and a siesta, we made our way down to the valley where we had been given the volunteer task of rebuilding an elephant bath. That’s definitely not something you say everyday! We are most inspired by our volunteers for all the hard work they put in, endlessly proud to have them following and representing what/who we believe in.
A huge thank you to the Elephant Valley Project, for their insight, education and experiences they gave us. This is one of the best organisations we’ve ever worked for, and look forward to a continued friendship in the future.
